change is uncomfortable
(i make music now)
i love to just make things when its not a full fledged multi media project that i practically poke my eyes out trying to make perfect
I made this today and this is what i thought about
Change is pretty uncomfortable. There comes a time in each of our lives i think where we no longer want to express the same way, act the same way, exist as we always have. And thats uncomfortable. For a long time I was bound by what other people might think if i changed, or what i would lose if i began to really express what I knew God Himself put inside of me.
No one wants to talk about that part, the brutal reality of finally coming to your senses and doing the thing you’ve been talking and talking about- but first being met with a thick wall of everything that protected you before- fear, self preservation, riding the slow decent of comfort into the end of your life.
Dare I say this is an abomination to the cross i believe in.
What do I say about the crucified Christ, up on a tree, marred beyond human resemblance?
It simply no longer matters if people from my hometown think my art is weird or stupid or not good
what i do now i do for eternity
